Privacy Policy
In short, your practice progress stays on your own device. The app has no accounts, no advertising and no third party tracking. We never ask for your name or email address inside the app, and we never sell data to anyone.
What is stored on your device
Your practice history, mock exam results, weak topics, kill sheet workouts and settings are stored locally on your device. This information is not tied to your identity and it is removed completely when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Anonymous answer statistics
To find questions that are unclear or wrong, the app sends anonymous answer statistics to our server. Each record contains the question identifier, which option was chosen or the number that was entered, whether it was correct, how long the answer took, the app version and a random install identifier that the app creates for itself. The identifier is not linked to your name, email address, phone number, advertising ID or any account. You can switch this off at any time in Settings under "Share anonymous answer statistics".
What you may choose to send us
When you report an error, answer one of our short questions or send a message through "Talk to us", we receive what you typed or selected, the related question identifier, the app version and the random install identifier. If you complete the optional welcome questions, we receive your chosen level, your exam date and your country. Please do not include personal information in free text, and please do not send actual exam questions, because we cannot use them.
What we do not collect
The app does not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos or advertising identifier. The app contains no advertising SDK and no third party analytics SDK.
Where the information is kept
Anonymous statistics and feedback are received by our own service running on Cloudflare and stored on servers that we control. We keep them for as long as they help us improve the questions, and we share them with nobody.
Children
The app is a professional study aid for people working in drilling operations. It is not directed at children under 13.
Your choices
You can switch off anonymous answer statistics in Settings, skip every optional question, and erase all local data by uninstalling the app. If you would like feedback that you sent to be deleted, email us with the approximate date and content and we will remove it.
Independence
The app is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any certification body. All questions are original and are not actual exam questions.
